There are three ways to use illustrations. First, as a sticker with a solid part behind it, which can be stacked on images or text, avoiding loss of visibility of the main object. Second, as a subtle background. Third, as a main subject in an application.

This allows the sticker to be layered over images or text without losing the main object’s visibility. When using illustrations as stickers, always ensure the background of the sticker is one of the following light colours to make the sticker stand out from the background. Use either contrast or a monotone approach.
